Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a specific skills training (8- week training cycle) which is scientifically proven to be effective and efficient for stress relief. With this training you can create a higher degree of awareness, learn better dealing with tension or rumination. It also helps increasing self-confidence. You learn to de-stress, become more focused and it improves complex problem-solving and decision-making. HOW DOES IT WORK? A human being has 50,000 till 80,000 thoughts a day. However 90 % of our behaviour is impacted by our unconscious mind, such as thoughts, values, opinions, fears, drivers etc. By creating a higher awareness we are able identifying pieces of our unconscious mind. This means we can for example be easier aware of our own physical situation and needs and therefore respect our boundaries. But also we can identify critical (stress)moments and interrupt stress cycles before they get out control.
